Rise of the Rest is excited to host a select group of CEOs at our 2024 Founder's Retreat in the scenic city of Alexandria, Virginia, from Wednesday, September 25th, to Friday, September 27th. This year’s focus is "Forging Forward," with collaborative sessions on adapting to market challenges and future-proofing your startup. The itinerary is a blend of fun and function, so come prepared to connect with fellow founders and the Rise of the Rest team through interactive workshops, discussions, and activities.

Hotel AKA Alexandria
Home base for this year’s Retreat is Hotel AKA, which is just 20 minutes from downtown D.C. and a short 10-minute drive from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Designed by world-renowned architect and designer Piero Lissoni, Hotel AKA is a sophisticated stay in Alexandria's Old Town — a charming, historic destination known for its boutique shopping, art galleries, restaurants, and waterfront.
Travel
We recommend flying into Reagan International Airport (DCA), which is a short 10-minute ride to the host hotel. Other regional airports include Washington’s Dulles International (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International (BWI). Both are about a 60-minute ride to the hotel.
